Addicting, but too expensive, not enough content

This game hooked me quickly and I fell in love with its charm. I enjoyed the choose-your-own-adventure style story quests; I love the characters and love the new dating options. BUT the balance of free to play content vs premium content is now broken. It used to come with free, new content every week (essential in a game that is just stories). For the first year I played, I looked forward to each new story and even spent real money on bonus content because I was having fun. But now weeks go by with no story updates. New quests cost money, every new character costs money, everything costs money - and the prices are going up. So weeks go by with nothing to do and I dont log in as often because theres no reason to. This game has great potential but the developers need to focus less on in-app purchases and add enough content to keep players coming back.
