Hollywood U: Rising Stars App Reviews

Ive been playing this game since it first came out, but since the All Star characters were introduced Ive noticed a drop in the quality of the main story. There hardly ever are updates to the main story and it feels like every character I would like to unlock (Chris, Biancas friends, etc.) costs 800 diamonds which is impossible for someone who is unable to constantly spend real money on them. I feel like Im really missing out on great characters and while I get you are a company who needs to earn money to keep making games, I wish that the main story quests didnt have to suffer for it.

You really shouldnt make people pay to have main story characters that should be included in the game anyway...

This is one of my favorite games-one thing I would change is that you can watch commercials to speed up the process of things-for example, quests, parties, etc.

I love this game but there needs to be improvements I think u should be able to decide more things because otherwise it seems pretty straight forward.

There needs to be more customization of the characters, plus once you get to higher levels, the quests drop off a lot. I would add more high level quests. It would also be cool if you could change your career throughout the game. I picked fashionista at first, but Id rather be a screen writer. Otherwise, great game! Also, it crashes when I try to buy Tylers makeover.

I got this game because the ad kept popping up... And it looked sorta cool. But after just a day of playing it, I was drawn in. All the cool clothes, buildings, and people are super fun! And you actually get to decide on most of the things you say to the other people on quests! I think overall this is a great game... And I would highly recommend it.

This game hooked me quickly and I fell in love with its charm. I enjoyed the choose-your-own-adventure style story quests; I love the characters and love the new dating options. BUT the balance of free to play content vs premium content is now broken. It used to come with free, new content every week (essential in a game that is just stories). For the first year I played, I looked forward to each new story and even spent real money on bonus content because I was having fun. But now weeks go by with no story updates. New quests cost money, every new character costs money, everything costs money - and the prices are going up. So weeks go by with nothing to do and I dont log in as often because theres no reason to. This game has great potential but the developers need to focus less on in-app purchases and add enough content to keep players coming back.

I love the fame and all but I recently finished level 51 and now Im on level 52. However, when I go to the quest tab there is nothing there. What should I do?

I liked this game at first but now that Im on like level 52 or something the quests for the main story are almost nonexistent. And Im not buying 400+ diamonds to play one of this side story quests that dont benefit me in leveling up. Are the creators on vacation or something because there needs to be more main story quests constantly.

Hollywood U is such a fun game and I can play it forever but theres one problem. I was leveling up one of my entourage when the game glitches and he stopped upgrading so I had to level him up all over again. This made me very mad and I wish you would fix this plz. Thanks!

I think it costs way to many diamonds to date Chris. First you have to use a bunch then more and more and I think you should make it less.

This used to be my favourite until the makers became money hungry. Now theyre just like everyone else. This and hss were the only Freemium games i would occasionally spend my real money on because The stories were so interesting. Now no effort at all goes into free content only the premium content is interesting or worth while. All the side quests to keep us busy cost real money to do. And not even a tiny amount. I will probably uninstall soon if things dont get better which is sad because when this game was in its prime it was amazing. What a shame.

So Ive had this game from pretty much the beginning and Ive been in love with it since. Ive even bought the diamond boutique, where you get 30 diamonds a day each day for thirty or so days. But right now my game wont even load!! Ive missed two days so far with the diamond boutique and now it feels like Im wasting money!! Please fix this asap

Edited: I used to love this game, but since last autumn it has gone downhill. The main quest that used to get a new chapter every week now gets updated every other month if were lucky. So the ongoing story with the characters we love is now stagnant. Meanwhile, the new content every week is almost exclusively a quest that requires premium currency to play and introduces yet another new character that we dont know and have no connection too. The fun Universe that was HWU feels lost. I am a firm believer in supporting game devs, especially small studios. I have no problem spending money on premium currency for a game I am enjoying. I started playing HWU the day it came out, and have spent a lot of money on in-app purchases, because I loved the game and developers should get paid for their work. But what used to be a fun game with a great story and fantastic characters has lost the charm that captivated me for the first year. Original 5 star review: I adore this game. The writing on the quests and dates is fantastic - like reading a great book or watching your fave tv show. I actually like that it takes time for the quests or to level up, because it stretches things out and helps me savor the story line. Fun characters, entertaining stories, and an absolute blast to play, plus new content rolled out regularly. Two thumbs up!

The game is amazing but please add kids and marriage cars maybe takeovers new aListers

I like the game a lot, but I would really like to restart the game and do things differently, but I cant. So it would be nice if you could add a reset button in the settings please and thank you.

I love everything bout this game and I play it all the time but I would like to c more diff types of characters like choreographer and kpop idol and also I would like to c more curly hairstyles but other than those the game is fine and great and would definitely recommend it.

This game really is no waist of time you should get it if you like games that have role paying and things like that.the only down side is that you have to buy main characters but I still rly like it!!
